Petra is a Partner specialised in employment tax, social security, compensation, payroll and reward and leads the Deloitte’s Professional Practices Group in Belgium (i.e. advice to international law firms). To this end she has assisted many international law firm clients establishing presence in Belgium and advising them on the best way to do so, while providing assistance in all related matters (i.e. legal, corporate/entity tax, VAT, employment tax, Bar regulations etc.).
She also has extensive experience in managing large expatriate tax engagements and in this field she and her teams provide expert advice to multinationals as to their (tax) obligations linked to their reward strategy, remuneration policy and linked talent agenda for Belgium (and more broadly for EMEA). Petra is commited to deliver value to her clients, as well as to her teams across Deloitte. She's the Deloitte Learning lead for the life sciences and healthcare industry in Belgium and the Talent lead for her service line (Global Employer Services) and thus overall responsible for recruitment, retention and related future strategic exercises and linked projects within Deloitte.
