50 fastest growing Belgian technology companies and 10 Rising Star finalists announced

2023 Technology Fast 50

Deloitte unveils top players in the Belgian start-up and scale-up world with the 10th annual Technology Fast 50 nominees and Rising Star finalists.

Brussels, 28 September 2023

Deloitte Belgium today released the names of the nominees of the 10th annual Technology Fast 50 in Belgium. In addition to the list of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies, Deloitte also named the 10 finalists of the Rising Star competition, which recognises promising companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years. The Technology Fast 50 award will be presented to the fastest-growing technology company in Belgium in terms of its percentage of growth in turnover over the past four years. Deloitte will announce the Fast 50 winner 2023 as well as the different category winners at the Fast 50 Awards Ceremony on 26 October 2023. Click here for the full list of nominees.

At this year’s special anniversary Fast 50 Awards Ceremony Deloitte will bring together the key players from Belgium’s tech scene, helping expand the networks of technology entrepreneurs. By connecting start-ups and scale-ups with the CEOs of corporations and family-owned and run companies, investors, and entrepreneurs, Deloitte aims to stimulate cross-fertilisation and further encourage technological innovation in the vibrant Belgian scale-up ecosystem.

This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Belgium and we see another good flow from Rising Star to Fast 50, with the 2022 winner Venly now on the Fast 50 list. Despite difficult economic conditions, many of last year’s strong Fast 50 winners, as well as unicorns such as Odoo and Deliverect, are back in the top 50, which shows that they are continuing to achieve hypergrowth. The field of Rising Star finalists is expanding, shifting from predominantly enterprise software to sustainability and mobility. These 10 exciting start-ups highlight the wealth of the Belgian ecosystem, from deep tech to eco-friendly cleaning products, making a significant impact on the way we live and work,

said Kristof Cox, Programme Director Technology Fast 50.
