Fast 50 - Rising Star competition

Perspectives

Rising Star competition

Confidence, recognition & momentum

While not all fast-growing technology companies have been in business for at least five years, many have the potential to become market leaders. That’s why these early achievers – who may one day be listed in the Technology Fast 50 ranking – can enter the Rising Star category!

“Rising Stars know how to convert threats into opportunities and turn them to their advantage.
That requires innovative strength, strategic insights and pure entrepreneurship.”

Nikolaas Tahon, managing partner Deloitte Accountancy

Domobios, winner Rising Star Award 2015

Rising Star competition

In this category, the key is revenue potential rather than revenue growth. All applications are made through a pitch and a well-developed business plan. A panel of independent experts from the technology sector analyses each entry and makes a selection according to scalability, experience, management team expertise and highly promising growth.

Known as post-incubators, Rising Stars have the potential to develop into successful companies that stand out from their competitors.

There are two awards in the Rising Star category: Most Disruptive Innovator and Rising Star. To find out if your company is eligible to enter this year’s competition, take a look at the process and criteria.

“The Rising Star award is a great recognition for the entire team and for our first Acar’Up product which is changing the lives of people who are allergic to dust mites. It is going to help us take up future challenges, such as globalisation and go-to-market of new products,” Pierre Buffet, Co-founder and Director of Domobios and Rising Star winner 2015.

Domobios - Rising Star 2015
