Deloitte advises Post Bank on the purchase of the Bulgarian branch of BNP Paribas Personal Finance

We are pleased to announce that Deloitte advised Postbank in reaching an agreement to acquire BNP Paribas Personal Finance Bulgaria. Transaction is expected to further strengthen Postbank’s position in the Bulgarian retail sector, while also providing significant opportunities for synergies and cross-selling, given BNP Paribas Personal Finance Bulgaria’s strong client base and market footprint.

Deloitte provided full buy side advisory services including financial and tax due diligence, legal due diligence, target valuation, corporate finance and legal advisory in deal structuring, negotiations, SPA drafting and legal transactional assistance. The financial team was led by Vladimir Surla (Financial Advisory Director), supported by Teodora Nedyalkova (Associate Director), Nadya Nedeltcheva (Manager), Angel Trifonov (Manager). Transaction is expected to be finalized in first semester of 2023, subject to the consultation with relevant employee representative bodies at BNP Paribas Personal Finance and approval of competent regulatory authorities.
