Former Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly joins Deloitte

TORONTO, April 28, 2016 – Deloitte is pleased to announce that Peter Sloly has joined the firm as an Executive Director. Sloly assumed his role on April 18th, having previously served as the Deputy Police Chief of the Toronto Police Service – the 4th largest municipal police service in North America.

“Peter has led transformational projects in Toronto and beyond, with an international reputation for being a change agent. He’s a proven leader and out-of-the-box thinker, so we’re excited to bring him on board,” said Ryan Brain, Regional Managing Partner for Deloitte in Toronto. “His impressive experience will serve our clients well, particularly as they face business challenges relating to cyber security, crisis response and digital media.”

Sloly will advise on projects coming from Deloitte’s leading Risk and Forensic practices, applying his expertise in the areas of enterprise risk management and emergency response; cyber risk; security; and social media. As an authority on topics like diversity and inclusion, he will also work in an advisory capacity to the firm.
