A group of experienced lawyers joins the firm.

Warsaw, 11 October 2021

Marta Bijak-Haiduk will join Deloitte Legal in January 2022 and will lead the legal advisory team in Poland dedicated to the real estate sector. The practice will be further reinforced by the addition of a group of lawyers, specializing in real estate law. The growth of the team is a response to an increased client demand for such services and is another confirmation of the continued development of Deloitte Legal, both on the Polish, and on the Central European markets.

With 13 years of professional experience, Marta Bijak-Haiduk is an expert in rendering legal advisory services for the real-estate sector, in particular, regarding issues related to investment processes, different structures of real-estate projects and their acquisition. She has authored numerous publications and articles on real-estate law.

I see a great opportunity for Deloitte Legal to become the leading player on the dynamically developing market of legal advisory services for the real estate sector. My vision matches the company’s growth strategy and thus I strongly believe that together with the team we will be able to significantly expand the real estate practice of Deloitte Legal and provide clients with a unique offer that will be a ‘one-stop shop’.

- said Marta Bijak-Haiduk.

Until recently Marta Bijak-Haiduk was a partner at Schoenherr Attorneys at Law. Deloitte Legal will also be joined by: Dominik Górski (local partner), Dominika Sulak-Seyfried (local partner), Patrycja Czarnecka (senior managing associate), Anna Jabłońska (senior associate), Enrika Gawłowska (associate) and Emilia Kubiszyn (associate), who will also be developing the legal advisory field for the real estate sector.

The expansion of the Deloitte Legal team is closely related to a growing interest in real estate law services from our clients. We have been conducting more and more transactions of this type, and the demand of the real estate market will most likely strengthen this trend. Our objective is to create as extensive an offering as possible and Marta and her team will help us deliver it.

- commented Tomasz Ostrowski, leader Deloitte Legal Poland.

Deloitte Legal focuses on providing new and integrated solutions for clients having to address the challenge of dealing with increasing complexity and rapid changes with the same or fewer resources. The addition of Marta and her team, who bring extensive experience in the real estate sector, perfectly matches this multidisciplinary approach, and will benefit our clients, both in Poland, and in Central Europe. It highlights our commitment to expanding our legal advisory capabilities as part of Deloitte’s long-term strategy.

- said Simina Mut, Deloitte Legal Central Europe leader.
