Kofi Awuah is currently the Risk Advisory Partner at Deloitte Ghana with over 15 years’ experience in Risk Management. He has worked and delivered transformational projects to global and regional clients in in financial services, telecom, oil & gas, manufacturing and public sector.
Kofi has both industry and practice experience working as an ex-banker in one of the leading banks in Nigeria and as Risk Management Specialist for two of the Global ‘Big four’ professional services firms in Nigeria and Ghana. As an ex-banker, he served as Credit Risk Specialist/Administrator, Mortgage, and Leasing officer respectively where he actively contributed to the development of relevant mortgage and leasing risk management operating model for the administration of mortgage and leasing products.
Kofi also represented the mortgage subsidiary of his bank on State led mortgage reform committees. His wealth of practical experience has distinguished him as the ‘go to person’ by top industry practitioners on risk management matters.
