People

We know our people are the most important element of our business. Guided by shared values, we are focused on creating a dynamic culture of inclusion, collaboration and high performance. While change continues to be a constant, our commitment to providing opportunities, resources and an inclusive culture to help our people thrive has not waivered. The growth of our business depends on the growth of our people. Ensuring they are supported to continuously grow and develop is essential. An inclusive, open and flexible working environment helps facilitate that. We continuously engage with our people to listen and start a dialogue for open and honest feedback about their experience. This feedback is used to inform the choices and actions we make to continually improve.

Deloitte Works, our hybrid working strategy, continued to be a focus in the last year. Deloitte Works allows our people and teams to choose when, where and how they work to deliver the best outcomes.

From recruitment, development and mentoring, to resources, training and practical guidance, we’ve developed a range of resources and initiatives to achieve our global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) ambitions, and create a more inclusive workplace, that’s reflective of today’s society.

We have six employee-led inclusion networks that continue to grow with over 700 members across the groups. These groups support us in driving the culture of inclusion, belonging and wellbeing. Through these networks we have raised awareness of, and celebrated, a multitude of key dates from World Mental Health Day, Diwali, Chinese New Year to Pride, International Women’s Day and World Refugee Day.

On recruitment pathways, our Development Internship for example, gives people awaiting a final decision on their application for international protection/refugee status, the opportunity to gain work experience in Ireland using their education and skills.
