Sunie Oue is a Managing Director of Business Tax Services Unit based in Tokyo, specializing in advising inbound clients. Until she retired from the Deloitte partnership at the end of 2023, she had accumulated considerable experience in Japanese and international tax advisory and compliance work for multinational enterprises with operations in Japan. She began her tax career with one of the Big Four firms in Tokyo in 1990 and became a partner in 2007 after successfully completing a four-year-assignment in the New York office (1998-2002). She joined Deloitte’s Japan member firm as a partner in 2013.
