Sunita’s expertise extends to conducting impactful impact assessments for diversified business groups in Oman/Qatar, encompassing the power and energy industry, financial services, real estate, and other relevant sectors.
In the role of VAT advisor for various businesses across Oman/Qatar, Sunita showcases exceptional skill in creating tailored strategies, specifically addressing the distinctive needs of the power and energy sector wherein her lead advisories encompass the review of models from VAT perspective and recommendations on capital expenditures incurred by businesses and their VAT treatment.
Before Qatar, Sunita was employed with another Big four firm in Oman and was closely involved in advising to the Ministry of Finance, Oman on drafting the legislation and other VAT support services in Oman.
