Christophe De Sutter

Christophe has been with Deloitte for more than 18 years and currently leads the International Tax Department with approximately 55 professionals and is also responsible for the non-FSI sector at Deloitte Luxembourg level.

He has over 20 years of experience serving corporate investors, mainly US based MNC’s on cross-border restructuring and is working on various local and international corporate tax matters. He has been involved in numerous cross border assignments analyzing the impact of ATADI, ATADII, MLI and the mandatory reporting under DAC6. He also counsels clients active in divesting and acquiring cross-jurisdiction targets as well as restructuring initiatives to align treasury, tax and legal entity structures.

Christophe has extensive experience in managing international structures, specializing in the areas of global reorganizations, intellectual property migration and management as well as Mergers and Acquisitions.

He has led a significant number of complex cross-border transactions involving listed corporations and targets. He has implemented group reorganizations in various industries with substantial foreign jurisdiction considerations. His expertise covers global structuring transactions from inception to implementation and through to exit. He understands the needs of multinational clients in offering proactive support in a dynamic market.
