Deloitte ranked #1 by Gartner in Security Consulting Services for the 4th consecutive year

Malta, 7^th  July 2016– Deloitte is pleased to announce that Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, ranked Deloitte #1 globally, based on revenue, in Security Consulting Services for the fourth consecutive year, in their April 2016 report entitled, Market Share: Security Consulting Services, Worldwide, 2015.

Discussing the broader risk landscape, the Gartner report notes, “The security consulting service market has grown from an estimated $15.3 billion in 2014 to $16.5 billion in 2015 with a growth rate of 7.6 percent, with a constant currency growth of 16.6 percent.”

Gartner defines Security Consulting services as “security-specific advisory services designed to help companies assess, analyse and improve the efficiency of their business operations, IT operations and technology strategies for security and risk management activities. Security consulting services include security-related business and IT consulting, as well as security assurance, but they exclude security audit work that results in attestation of security controls used for audit purposes.”^*
