NomosOne Public Seminar

On 25 March 2019, Deloitte Malaysia hosted the NomosOne Public Seminar, attended by over 72 participants from 37 companies, to discuss MFRS 16 and the practical implementation challenges and technology solutions that can help them comply with the new leasing standard.

Izzad Shamsudin, Business Advisory Leader of Deloitte Malaysia, delivered the opening speech and highlighted the key impacts of the new leasing standard. Foo Mei Yin, Senior Manager of Deloitte Malaysia, provided guests with insights of the core principles of MFRS 16. Victor Pineiro, Group Chief Revenue Official of Nomos One Limited, was also present to share how the NomosOne software can assist to ease lease contract management and at the same time comply to IFRS 16 requirements for accounting and financial reporting. We also invited Lim Jit Kiang, Head of new business – Asia from Nomos One Limited to discuss the functionalities of the NomosOne software and the ease of using the tool.
