Andreja Škofič Klanjšček

Partner of Tax Advisory Department

Andreja is a partner of the Slovene tax practice. She has more than 18 years of experience in the field of tax consulting and has been working for Deloitte for 10 years. Andreja has a bachelor's degree in economics and is currently completing her masters’ studies in the field of tax law.

In her professional career, she has specialized mostly in corporate taxes and indirect taxation, especially value added tax. Andreja has been involved in numerous business tax restructuring projects, as well as mergers and acquisition advisory projects for international and Slovene clients.

She also participated in different tax projects including tax due diligences and tax reviews of companies covering manufacturing, transport, telecommunication and automotive industry. She was also involved in several projects of review of payroll system and the reimbursements of costs to the employees.

Andreja is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of German.

Clients include: Letrika d.d., Iskratel d.o.o., Gorenje d.d., AC Nielsen.

Tjaša Smola

BPS Manager / Certified Auditor

Tjaša is the leader of BPS Business Process Solutions department, which operates within the tax department of Deloitte. She studied at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and is currently completing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She acquired the professional title of a certified auditor and internal auditor at the Slovenian Institute for Auditing. In the field of finance, accounting, tax, business processes and due diligence, Tjasa has more than 20 years of professional work experience.
During her career, in addition to excessive knowledge of domestic and international accounting standards, tax legislation and business governing legislation, Tjasa also specialised in the field of the control environment of enterprises and risk-management with knowledge in companies and financial institutions in terms of management, organization and control of business processes, internal controls, reviews of the current status in the field of planning and monitoring of revenues and cost centres. In addition to that, she has special knowledge and skills in rationalization of operating costs, the definition of the methodology for calculating the profitability of individual cost carriers, establish a system for monitoring basic components of free cash flow for the purpose of operational and strategic business planning, unification of key performance indicators in the various departments and the introduction of a balanced indicator system for the entire company. She is also actively involved in the due diligence of foreign companies.

Tjasa is fluent in English, and has mastered German and Croatian for work related purposes.

Gorazd Ocvirk

Head of DCE Blockchain Lab

Gorazd is an experienced strategy consultant with 12+ years proven track record of highly successful operational leadership within nimble, fast growing companies scaling them for further expansion; defining new products, building & optimizing infrastructure and processes.

Gorazd has a strong end-to-end understanding of product, customer experience and technology; deep experience overseeing the creation of innovative customer-facing products and propositions securing deep and broad user engagement.

Gorazd is familiar with the technical details of different protocols and token standards and has profound understanding of the workings of the Blockchain markets. Gorazd has also worked for several Blockchain based companies and start-ups.

Tadej Recek

Project manager, Risk and Agreed-Upon Procedures specialist

Tadej is a project manager with Deloitte assurance services. He started his career as an audit associate in 2012 and later moved on to Senior Analyst and deputy Head of Controlling and Regulatory Reporting department at one of the internationally present banks in Slovenia.

He received his Bachelors degree in business and economics from the Faculty of Business and Economics in Maribor, and his Masters degree from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.

Tadej is in charge of managing projects related to the risk and regulatory field in the financial sector, but he also leads projects related to Agreed-Upon-Procedures across various other non-financial business sectors. As audit associate, he participated in audits of financial statements of Cinkarna Celje, Pošta Slovenije, Hidria group, Mercator group, Elan etc. In his role as a senior analyst and later as deputy head of department, he acquired vast experience in data analysis and reporting procedures as well as optimization of business processes.

His key references on the current field of expertise include NLB group, DUTB, SKB bank, Gorenje group and others.

Tadej is fluent in English and Croatian language.
