Ivana Lorencovičová

Ivana Lorencovičová is the Managing Partner of Deloitte Czech & Slovak Republic. She is also the WorldImpact Leader for Deloitte Central Europe promoting initiatives focused on creating a more sustainable and more equitable corporate environment. Ivana has over 20 years of experience in transaction advisory and manages projects for strategic and financial investors in various sectors, including advisory on M&A, company sales, restructuring, refinancing and business valuations. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the UK. 

 

 

Patrik Ferko

Patrik Ferko is the Partner-In-Charge of the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia. He has participated in various client engagements, including statutory audits, IFRS and US GAAP audits, advisory on Slovak and IFRS accounting issues, due diligence projects, IFRS consolidations, and transformations of financial statements from Slovak Accounting Standards to IFRS. He has experience in projects for a number of industries, such as automotive, manufacturing, construction, steel industries, media and telecommunications. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom and a Slovak statutory auditor. He is also a leader of the Deloitte Private Group providing specific advisory services to private companies, family businesses and private individuals.

Ľubica Dumitrescu

Ľubica Dumitrescu is the Partner-in-Charge of the Tax and Legal business at Deloitte in Slovakia and has extensive experience in tax advisory. She specialises in domestic and international income tax and social security issues. Her clients include domestic and multinational companies across various industries. She also leads a cross-functional team of experts specialising in advisory for clients operating in pharmaceutical, life science and healthcare industries. Ľubica is a licensed tax advisor, the Chair of the Methodological-Legislative Committee for Personal Income Tax and a member of the Presidium of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors. She is also a member of the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia. Ľubica is an often-quoted expert in the media, and lectures at prestigious events organised by Deloitte in cooperation with various commercial and professional chambers and the media.

Michal Kopanič

Michal Kopanič has been the Partner-in-Charge of the Consulting business at Deloitte in Slovakia since 2017 and leads the M&A consulting team in the CEE region. Over the last twenty years, he has held various executive and senior management positions. Michal has built long-lasting and durable professional relationships; and developed, motivated, and led multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. He has a proven track record in strategic and transformed businesses, M&A, post-merger integration, digitization, implementation of technologies and solutions, building Shared Services Centres for major companies operating in the financial and energy sectors in the US, UK, continental Europe, Middle East and Africa, CIS region, and Asia. Prior to joining Deloitte, Michal worked at another strategic consulting firm.

Valéria Morťaniková

Valéria Morťaniková is a Partner in the Tax business at Deloitte in Slovakia. She mainly specialises in corporate income taxation, international taxation, and assistance and representation of clients in tax audits. She has extensive experience in taxation and was the main driver of the success of the tax business at the Košice Deloitte office. Valéria brings her efficient entrepreneurial approach to providing tax advisory to international corporations and local companies. She also has experience with major investment projects, primarily in Eastern Slovakia. Her clients include companies in the automotive, IT and manufacturing sectors, and shared services centres. She has been a licensed tax advisor registered in the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors since 2009.

Peter Longauer

Peter Longauer has worked for Deloitte since 2000 and is the Partner of the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia. He specialises in providing assurance and advisory services to financial institutions. He is the Partner-in-Charge of Deloitte financial institution audit team in Central Europe and oversees the audit quality of major banks in the region. From 2006 to 2014, Peter worked at Deloitte Sydney as a statutory auditor for a number of international banking groups. In addition to statutory audits, Peter has long-term experience of regulatory compliance reviews at banking and non-banking entities operating on financial markets, financial due diligence assignments and accounting advisory and has specific expertise in financial instruments. Peter is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom and a Slovak statutory auditor.

Zuzana Letková

Zuzana Letková is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia and Audit Quality Review Partner for Deloitte Central Europe. She is responsible for strategic planning, overall management, supervision and quality control of audits performed by the audit and assurance business, primarily for clients operating in the financial services industry, including real estate, and public-interest entities. She specialises in auditing and management and has more than 25 years of experience at international audit firms. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom and a licensed auditor of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors.

Miloš Martončík

Miloš Martončík is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia and leads the Deloitte office in Košice. He has been working in audit and advisory since 1997 and for Deloitte since 1999. He has extensive knowledge and experience of Slovak and International Accounting Standards. From 2004 to 2006, he undertook a 20-month assignment in the US, where he successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom and a Slovak statutory auditor. Miloš specialises in shared service centres and audits conducted in accordance with PCAOB standards and related attestations of the effectiveness of internal controls. He has extensive experience in audit and advisory for companies operating in the construction and manufacturing sectors, and in PPP projects.

Peter Jaroš

Peter Jaroš is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He is responsible for audits of German-speaking clients in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Peter leads the German Desk team providing mainly audit, accounting and tax services in the German language. He has extensive experience in the automotive, manufacturing, construction and retail sectors. During his career, he has gained in-depth knowledge of Slovak accounting standards, International Financial Reporting Standards, German GAAP, and other regulatory standards. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom (FCCA) and a Slovak statutory auditor.

Ján Bobocký

Ján Bobocký is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance business at Deloitte in Slovakia. He has extensive experience in projects involving business restructuring, financial instruments, improvements of controls, consulting on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and consolidation and regulation in the energy and resources industry. He led compliance inspections of suppliers and distributors for clients in the pharmaceutical industry and oil & gas companies at Deloitte’s London office. Ján is currently focused on winning energy contracts and providing services to clients in the energy sector within the Czech-Slovak cluster. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the UK, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Licenced Auditor of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors.
