Frank Friedman

Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte LLP

As chief executive officer of Deloitte LLP, one of the leading professional services firms, Frank Friedman leads an organization of more than 65,000 professionals in nearly 90 US cities and India. Friedman oversees our people in delivering measurable and enduring impact on behalf of our clients, people, communities, and society.

Like all Deloitte professionals, Friedman plays a crucial role in serving the investor public, protecting capital markets, and helping our clients to solve their most pressing problems with confidence.

Serving as CFO since 2011, Friedman has led the development of the US firms’ financial strategy, including capital, budgeting, planning, analysis, accounting, partner financial services, taxes, reporting, and operations.

Friedman is a frequent commentator on major issues impacting the US economy, speaking to outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business, and CNNMoney.

Outside of Deloitte, Friedman has served on the board of many philanthropic organizations, including the REACH Foundation, Starlight Theater, Health Midwest, Minority Supplier Council, and Menorah Hospital.

Friedman joined Deloitte’s Kansas City office in 1979 after graduating from the University of Kansas with a BA in accounting and business administration. Friedman is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Kansas, Missouri, and New York.
