Will Posey

Will Posey, a Partner in the Global Employer Services (GES) practice of Deloitte Tax, has more than 30 years of experience in serving multinational clients with all aspects of properly caring for their globally mobile people. He is honored to serve as the GES National Service Line Leader in the United States as well as the GES Leader for the Americas.

Will is responsible for overseeing more than 1,600 outstanding professionals who serve clients with unique mobility, talent and rewards needs. He is also tasked with establishing the practice’s strategic direction, and ensuring its alignment with the National, Regional and Global Tax strategies. His additional responsibilities include leadership development, coaching, teaching, and mentoring.

Will began his career with Deloitte in Atlanta, and he is currently based out of the Houston office. Having lived and worked as a global assignee in Germany for several years, Will truly understands the needs of globally mobile professionals, and he leverages this experience when working with clients.

Will has extensive industry experience in Oil & Gas, and he is an Advisory Partner on a number of US-headquartered multinationals.

Will understands the importance of career growth and transformation. He has a strong passion and desire to mentor the next generation of GES professionals and leaders, and he thrives on discovering key talent. Will realizes that for talent to develop, the firm must be financially successful, and he continually challenges himself - and the practice - to think strategically, aligning processes to achieve financial goals.

Will is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Georgia and Texas. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Georgia Society of CPAs, and Texas Society of CPAs.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and his Master’s degree in Taxation from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
