What impact will you make?

As a tax advisor in Aruba/Curacao, you work broadly as a generalist. In particular, direct taxation and indirect taxes are a growing part of the work. You work closely with the (Senior) Tax Manager or Tax Director. Your activities include drafting income tax returns and profit tax returns. You also recognize and signal tax advice points and are able to edit them in more detail. Furthermore, you are involved in carrying out analyses in the field of tax legislation and you contribute with the development of products that could result from this. Our team is expanding. You share your expertise with other colleagues in the Dutch Caribbean and the Netherlands, based in Aruba/Curacao, and with other colleagues in the Deloitte Global network. Our team provides comprehensive and innovative tax services. This varies from multinationals to family businesses that originate in the Dutch Caribbean, but often also branches abroad.

What you offer

Additionally you have the following:

  • A completed academic education in a fiscal or economic direction, for example Fiscal Economics, Tax Law, Business Economics and/or Accountancy;
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience;You are analytically strong, result-oriented, customer-oriented, dynamic and flexible;
  • You have a positive attitude, good communication skills and a highly developed sense of responsibility;
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Dutch (Papiamento is a plus).
