Jacquie Fegent-McGeachie

Partner, Climate & Sustainability

Jacquie is a Partner in Deloitte’s Climate & Sustainability practice and advises clients on how they can prepare, optimise, and use Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting as a catalyst to drive organisational change, build business resilience and trust and reputation with stakeholders. She is skilled in applying leading ESG frameworks and standards including the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and in strategic communication. She takes a systems-based approach to helping clients solve complex challenges and influence change.


Jacquie has spent her 20+ year career focused on sustainability, ESG and responsible business practice and brings first-hand experience in leading global sustainability and ESG strategies and teams having held senior roles within listed customer-centric companies. She founded and run her own successful sustainability consultancy and has embedded sustainability into large complex organisations.


Jacquie has been appointed to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) Sustainability Reporting Advisory Panel, which is guiding how the draft ISSB standards will be implemented in Australia. She is an award-winning graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a Governor of World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and former Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia, which is an affiliate partner for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). She is also an affiliate member of Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand.
