Our Deloitte Graduate Program
If you're completing your studies in mid to end of 2021 (or, already completed your studies within the last 2 years), and ready to launch your career with us in March 2022, this program is for you!
As part of your journey with us, you will get a chance to immerse yourself in our award-winning Graduate Learning Academy (formerly 'D|Academy'); which will provide you with the tools and training you'll need to drive your career experience, along with ongoing mentoring, peer support and e-learning to continue your personal and professional development.
When does it start?
Depending on the business area you apply for, our Graduate Program may commence in March or July.
What will I get to do?
As one of our Grads, expect significant client exposure, hands-on projects and multiple networking opportunities. You'll get relevant professional training and feedback from your coach and guide throughout your program, with the chance to learn from and work with industry professionals across the firm.

You're eligible for our Graduate Program if you are completing your studies in 2021, and ready to join the program full-time in early-2022.
For our mid-year Graduate intake, joining us in July 2021, you'll need to have completed your studies by this time.
You can also apply if you have completed your studies up to 24 months prior to your program commencement.
Deloitte Australia* accepts applications for our graduate program from students who do not yet hold Australian permanent residence into the following business units in order to augment our talent pools: Consulting and Risk Advisory.

Our recruitment process
Our recruitment process enables us to assess whether or not we are a good match for you, and if you are a good match for us. Take a look at the steps below to understand the recruitment process for our student programs.
Once you know which team you'd like to start your adventure with, you're ready to begin with an online application. We recommend applying as soon as our programs open to increase your chances.
We’ll be taking into consideration your:
• Work, leadership and team experience
• Extra-curricular activities
• Academic results
• Passion, enthusiasm and motivation
Tip! We strongly recommend applying to no more than 3 roles. These will enable us to see that you have done your research into Deloitte, our roles and where you can see your future grow at Deloitte!
2. Online Assessment
You’ll be notified via email if you have been selected to participate in this part of the process. Our interactive graduate assessment is a unique assessment experience which can be completed online and should only take about 20 minutes of your time. Regardless of how many roles you have applied for, you will only need to complete the test once.
This part of the process is intended to assess your fit with the vacation internship program and Graduate positions available at Deloitte, and to give you a little taste of what it may be like to work with us. If you're successful, we will be in touch either over the phone or via email to detail next steps. So sit tight!
Tip! We strongly suggest that you find some quiet space and plenty of time to undertake this test. You'll find it a little different to anything you may have previously experienced and while you may find yourself having fun, concentration will definitely help you complete it to the best of your ability.
3. Phone/Video Interview
In this stage, a friendly member of our Graduate Recruitment team will arrange to connect with you over a phone or video call. Take the time to research Deloitte on our website, and be prepared to chat with us about:
• Your motivation to join Deloitte
• Your interest in the team you have chosen to apply for
• Personal experience and aspirations – we want to get to know the real you!
4. Assessment Centre
At the assessment centre, senior members from the business area you applied for will be there to assess how your competencies could add value to their team. On the day, you can expect:
• An information session
• Group activities
• Case study
• Networking with Deloitte team members.
5. Case study*
In some cases, you will need to complete a case study assessment which considers situation analysis and numerical interpretation. The case study is an interactive interview and you are encouraged to ask questions, seek clarification and bounce ideas off the interviewer.
*Not applicable to all areas of the business.
6. Final Interview
Congratulations – you’re almost there! At this final stage, you will undertake a behavioural-based interview with a Partner or Director in the team you're looking to join. This is also your opportunity to discover more about life at Deloitte and the people you could be working with.
You will always hear from us, regardless of whether you are successful or not. If we decide to progress you to this final stage, pre-employment checks and background screening are conducted by either Deloitte or our external third-party provider. If you haven’t heard anything yet, that means your application is still being considered. Good luck!

Can I apply for more than one role?
We recommend that you apply for no more than 3 roles.
I have applied for a role at Deloitte in the past 6 months. Can I apply for another role?
If you have applied and been unsuccessful for a specific area within the last 6 months, unfortunately you cannot reapply to that area again. You are however able to apply for opportunities in other areas. Please consider how you could take on board feedback and refine your application.
Chartered Accountants (CA) Program Eligibility
Some of our business areas require you to be eligible at the end of your degree to enter the CA Program. We accept applications from candidates who are non-CA eligible – just make sure you apply for an area that is suitable to your background.

We require a copy of your transcript upon application. We accept unofficial transcripts, but if you're successful in securing a graduate role, you will be required to provide an official transcript.
