Our programs have been designed for students to complement the various stages of their academic studies.

Step 1: Find out which program you are eligible for

Deloitte Private Young Achievers Program

This program is for students in their first year of a degree that enables them to enrol in the CA program once the degree is completed (e.g. Accounting, Commerce/Business with a major in Accounting). Find out more.

Deloitte Development Program

This program is designed for students at the start of their degrees. Find out more. 

Summer Vacation Program

This program is designed for students in their penultimate year of study (2nd last year of their degree). Find out more.

Graduate Program

Step 2: Apply straight away

Applications for available roles for our Graduate, Summer Vacation, Deloitte Development Program and Young Achievers Program are open for a set period of time each year. We receive a high volume of applicants each year and encourage you to apply early.  

Make sure you apply early, so your application is one of the first to be received. 

Step 3: Do your research

Do your research and find your fit on our Your Future at Deloitte website specifically for students. 

Show that you've done your research in your short answer questions.

Step 4: Submit your application via our website

To apply for one of our programs complete the following steps:

  • Visit Apply now
  • Check which business units have available opportunities and select your preferred job from the list
  • Register a username and password
  • Complete the online application form.

Prepare all the elements of your application before you sit down to fill in the form.

Step 5: What happens after I apply?

Our recruitment process enables us to assess whether or not we are a good match for you, and if you are a good match for us. Take a look at the steps below to understand the recruitment process for the program you're applying to.

1. Application

The online application considers:

  • Work, leadership and team experience
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • Academic results
  • Passion, enthusiasm and motivation
  • Resume.

 

2. Online Assessment

Our interactive graduate assessment is a unique assessment experience which can be completed online and should only take about 20 minutes of your time. This part of the process is intended to assess your fit with the Summer Vacation and Graduate positions available at Deloitte and to give you a little taste of what it may be like to work with us.

We strongly suggest that you find some quiet space and plenty of time to undertake this test. You will find it a little different to anything you have experienced before and while you may find yourself having fun, concentration will definitely help you complete it to the best of your ability.

You’ll be notified via email if you have been selected to participate in this part of the process.

Regardless of how many roles you have applied for, you will only complete the test once.

 

3. Phone interview

You will have a phone call with a member of the Graduate Talent Acquisition team to discuss:

  • Your motivation to join Deloitte
  • Your interest in your choice of Business and Operating Unit
  • Career opportunities.

 

4. Assessment Day

The assessment centre may include:

  • An information session
  • Group activities
  • A written exercise
  • An individual case study
  • Networking with Deloitte team members.

 

5. Case Study - Not for all positions

The case study assessment considers situation analysis and numerical interpretation. The case study is an interactive interview and the candidate is encouraged to ask questions, seek clarification and bounce ideas off the interviewer.

 

6. Partner interview

A behavioural based interview with a Partner in the business unit you are looking to join.

 

7. Offer

You will always hear from us, regardless of whether you are successful or not. If you haven't yet heard, that means your application is still being considered.
