How we hire

Further questions? We've got you covered with our FAQs page.

Your application

Applications for our Graduate and Vacationer program opportunities for international students is by Expression of Interest (EOI) only.

This means you will need to make an online application via the 'Expression of Interest' form for your preferred business area (specific business area service lines and apply links are found in the Program Pathways section above).

We will review all EOI applications, and our team will be in touch to invite you into the recruitment process should your application be successful to be selected.

Note: At this stage (February/March application period), we will only be accepting expression of interest applications from international students for our 2023 Graduate Program.

If you are interested and eligible to apply for our Vacationer Internship Program, we will be opening applications via Expression of Interest in July.

We strongly recommend applying to no more than two roles. This will show us that you’ve done your research to understand Deloitte, the roles and opportunities with us, as well as helping to articulate your areas of interest and where you could see your future here.

Closing deadlines: Please be aware, if a particular opportunity becomes oversubscribed, we will close it for applications before the stated deadline. We recommend you submit your completed application as early as possible.

If you need assistance or an accommodation during the recruitment process for accessibility reasons, there will be an opportunity for you to let us know what you need once you begin your application.

Immersive Online Assessment

Hear from Maddie on our team’s tips for completing the online assessment.

Stay tuned to your inbox, as we’ll be emailing you with updates on your progress through our recruitment process.

Our online assessment is an immersive, client-focussed set of virtual activities that are intended to give you a taste of what it may be like to work with us, along with helping us learn more about you. And following the assessment, you’ll receive a bespoke feedback report about your individual strengths and abilities. This isn’t the outcome of your assessment, but it will provide you with valuable advice on developing your skills and making the most of your potential.

Note: If you’ve applied for multiple roles with us, you will only need to complete the online assessment once.

Digital Interview

Ben shares his advice and tips for approaching the digital interview.

You'll receive a call or email from our team advising if you're successful in progressing to our digital interview stage. Using our video interviewing platform, you'll be able to self-record your responses to a small number of questions from the comfort of home and at a time that suits you.

It’s your chance to show us your true self to help us understand who you are, how you’ll fit within our team and how far your potential could take you.

Along with all stages of the process, our team will share details with you ahead of time to help you prepare.

Assessment Centre

Heather shares her tips and advice on the Assessment Centre.

Depending on your location and, in keeping to any health-related advice, our Assessment Centre activity may be hosted as an in-person event or conducted virtually.

Expect to join us for a morning or afternoon where you’ll participate in several activities, from information sessions and networking opportunities to a group case study exercise and 1:1 interview with a leader from our business. Your Assessment Centre experience with us will vary depending on the role and business area you have applied to – for example, you may be asked to prepare for an individual presentation or attend a final interview with our team at a separate time.

Hear from Maddie on the STAR interviewing technique.
