The Smarter Healthcare Competition

The Smarter Healthcare Competition

Cognitive technologies and automation software offer significant opportunities to improve the safety and sustainability of health care services. Enter our competition by 29 September for the opportunity to win $50,000 of support from Deloitte to co-develop a prototype that makes a tangible difference to our healthcare system.

The Deloitte Smarter Healthcare Competition provides the opportunity for health service providers and funders to develop new ideas that use automation, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to tackle the challenges facing the Australian healthcare system.

From increasing productivity in back office functions, through to robots that interact with patients, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence is pushing healthcare forward into new and exciting territories.

Deloitte have responded to these changes by building a healthcare AI and cognitive automation team with extensive experience in healthcare management, combined with deep technical capabilities in development and design of machine learning algorithms and automation technologies.

The Smarter Healthcare Competition is further commitment by Deloitte to using AI and cognitive automation to tackle some of the challenges of the healthcare system and is open to any healthcare provider or healthcare funding organisation, public or private.

We are asking you to describe a problem within healthcare that would lend itself to AI automationor cognitive automation. We will work with the winner to develop a prototype to address this problem – investing Deloitte time and resources of over $50,000 to do so.
