Deloitte named one of BRW’s 50 most innovative companies for third year in a row
3 September 2015: Deloitte Australia is proud to be named as one of Australia’s 50 Most Innovative Companies 2015 by acclaimed publication Business Review Weekly (BRW), making the list for the third year running.
Ranked at number #30 (up from #46 in 2014), Deloitte was selected from over 500 entries by a panel of industry experts, and is the only Big Four professional services firm on the list.
John Meacock, Deloitte’s Chief Strategy Officer, said: “Deloitte has embraced innovation and change for over a decade. We see it as a critical factor to outgrowing our competitors, particularly over the past few years.
“Experience has taught us that disruption is an ‘S’ curve: it starts out slowly, and then boom – it hits you! So, we have learnt to embed innovation in everything we do, as a key part of our culture and the way we do things. Championing a culture of innovation also informs our ability to create solutions and provide advice that helps our clients stay ahead of the disruption curve.”
Jason Bender, Innovation Lead Partner and member of the Deloitte Global Innovation Executive, said: “We are thrilled our commitment to innovation has again been recognised by BRW. Making the top 50 for the third year running is a wonderful validation that our people continue to re-imagine the future and challenge the status quo. Our structured approach to innovation and relentless focus on developing our people and innovation culture has enabled us to be more responsive to change and creating new value for our clients.
“We’re at the cusp of a massive transformation across all industries and sectors that will affect not only business, but every person on the planet. This rate of change is exponential, as fuelled by Moore’s law. If you can dream it, it will probably be possible in the next three to five years. This is what drives Deloitte’s long-term investment in innovation.”
