Deloitte Private wins National Partner of the Year at Xero Awards
5 September 2018: Deloitte Private was named the inaugural National Partner of the Year at XeroCon 2018 in Brisbane last night.
Deloitte Private was chosen for the significant value it has added to clients and employees across Australia and its championing of the use of Xero and its cloud technology over the last year.
Michael Clarke, Deloitte Private’s Chief Strategy Officer said: “We’re thrilled to win this award, which recognises our ongoing commitment to working with leading software companies like Xero to redefine the accounting experience that is enabled by cloud technologies.
“Since 2014, we’ve helped our clients across Australia embrace cloud technology, enabling them to become more efficient in how they run their businesses. Xero has played a significant role assisting our clients to streamline and integrate the way they experience accounting and bookkeeping work via our Private Connect platform.
“More recently, we’ve been on a journey to have all of our employees be certified experts in Xero and migrate all of our client base to a cloud ledger and this award is fantastic validation of the work we’ve done so far.”
Trent Innes, Managing Director of Xero Australia & Asia said: “The digital landscape in Australia is evolving from ‘nice to have’ to a ‘must have’ as new government legislation is making it mandatory for small businesses to use digital systems of record.
“So it’s important for our Xero partners to be at the forefront of these changes, as they’re the ones on the front line helping small businesses transform the way they do business. Deloitte Private is well and truly leading the pack and we’re proud to have them as part of our network.”
