Get your nominations in for Australia’s Tech Fast 50 list - closing 30 Sept

Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2015 extended by five days to 30 September

18 September 2015: To have a shot at being one of Australia’s TechFast 50 winners you need to nominate by 30 September. Joshua Tanchel, Deloitte Private Partner and leader of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program said: “Brands like Freelancer, Vocus Communications, SiteMinder, NextDC, Vinomofo, and Atlassian are just some of our previous winners. Just look where they are now!

“As well as NetSuite – a sponsor this year - for the second year in a row the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX Ltd) is a lead sponsor of our program. We will announce this year’s Technology Fast 50 winners at the ASX in November.”

Tanchel added that a key value of the program is its ability to help fast growing Australian companies build their reach and attract capital. He said: “We have world class entrepreneurs with leading technologies and innovative cultures. What many of these great businesses need is access to venture capital.

“To paraphrase the Hon Malcolm Turnbull from his inaugural speech as Prime Minister: ‘The Australia of the future has to be a nation that is agile, that is innovative, that is creative … we have to recognise that the disruption that we see driven by technology … is our friend if we are agile and smart enough to take advantage of it.’”

Elmer Funke Kupper, CEO and Managing Director of ASX said: “ASX is delighted to again support the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program. Our interest in helping to raise the profile of some of the fastest growing technology companies in Australia has strengthened over the last 12 months.

“Tech is a growing and increasingly important sector for investors in the Australian market. The expanding impact of Australian technology companies on both the regional and global stage deserves ASX’s attention, encouragement and support.”
