Making an impact that matters

In November 2016, Prince Harry announced that the 2018 Invictus Games would be coming to Australia and on Wednesday, 7th June 2017 the Prince was in Sydney to officially launch the 500 day countdown to the opening ceremony of the 2018 Games.

Founded by Prince Harry, the Invictus Games uses the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and to promote a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women and the supporting role that their families play. “Invictus” is Latin for unconquered, and it embodies the fighting spirit of the service personnel.

In 2018, some 18 nations will compete in 10 different adaptive sports with events being held across Greater Sydney, including Olympic Park and on and around Sydney Harbour.

Deloitte is proud to be a Founding Partner of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.
