On 24 March, the ATO updated their instructions to assist taxpayers complete the Reportable Tax Position (RTP) Schedule for 2021.

While the RTP instructions are largely consistent with prior years, the number of Category C disclosures has increased substantially, in line with the increasing number of Practical Compliance Guidelines and Taxpayer Alerts being released by the ATO.
