Damien is the former Group IT Director of the Selfridges Department Store Group and leads Deloitte’s consumer business and retail technology advisory team in Australia.
He specialises in Digital and IT strategy formulation and delivery, particularly around managing the complexity of multi-channel operations, IT cost reduction and operating models.
With Deloitte in the UK and Australia, he has concentrated on the Consumer Business and Retail industries, having developed the Digital and IT strategies for some global CB multi-nationals and some of the leading national grocers and department stores.
He is part of the global team who developed the Deloitte IT strategy and effectiveness methodologies and has helped the board of retailers navigate the conundrum of increasing investment in online and multi-channel to drive top line growth while at the same time, managing the cost and value for money of IT service provision.
He brings a balanced perspective having been a consultant as well as being part of the management team of leading retailers.
