About the Invictus Games

Sitting Volleyball

An international sporting event for wounded, injured and ill veteran and active service personnel, the Invictus Games highlight the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding of and respect for those who serve their country. The London, Orlando and Toronto Games had a lasting impact and we look forward to what Sydney will bring in 2018.

At the Invictus Games Sydney 2018, competitors will contest in 13 medal sports; archery, athletics, golf, indoor rowing, Jaguar Land Rover driving challenge, powerlifting, road cycling, sailing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis.
