New leadership appointments in Deloitte CIS

Moscow, 1 April 2013 – Deloitte CIS is pleased to announce the following changes to its leadership, which will take effect from the beginning of April.
Quentin O’Toole will take on the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) and will also continue as Managing Partner of CIS Audit. Mark Mullins has completed his two-year secondment to the CIS practice as COO and is returning to the UK. Quentin has been with Deloitte for 25 years, having started his career with Deloitte in Auckland, New Zealand in 1988. Quentin has had an extensive experience working on the CIS market. He came to Deloitte CIS in 2005 to assume the leadership of Audit in the West Region before being appointed to lead the CIS Audit practice in October 2009.
Jacques Strydom joined the CIS firm in 2005 with extensive prior experience in the oil and gas sector. Jacques has led audits of large energy and resources companies, in both South Africa and Papua New Guinea, and has also served some of our most important clients here in the CIS. He now returns to Moscow to lead the Audit practice in Russia after his two-year secondment to the UK firm.
Joe Pacelli has recently joined Deloitte CIS to assume the role as Head of Business Development. Joe has had a diverse career including serving as a Royal Marine for six years, working as a tax practitioner at a Big Four firm in London and Wellington, New Zealand, and acting as a Chief Financial Officer at a resourcing business start up.
