Life at Deloitte
What you do should not only be motivating and interesting – it should also be fun
Tural Hajiyev, Director, Consulting
When I first joined the ERS department at Deloitte Baku in September 2003, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism shown by the specialists who surrounded me. As time went by, I asked myself time and time again what it is that makes our firm so attractive to the most talented people from the many industries and universities in the communities in which we operate. Of course, there is no simple answer to this question.
First of all, I think talented people are attracted, not only by a large salary and a good financial package, but also by a job that is interesting and challenging. Working for Deloitte, you face a lot of challenging situations, and carry out non- routine and interesting tasks on a daily basis.
Secondly, highly-skilled professionals are motivated by results – seeing how your advice changes the way our clients operate, and seeing the immediate effect your work has on business decisions provides great inspiration for further growth.
Thirdly, what you do should not only be motivating and interesting – it should also be fun!
All things considered, I think it is for the above reasons that I love it here at Deloitte and am planning to continue developing further with the firm.
