Entry Level Tax Consultant to Business Process Solutions team

The role will involve
- Provide accounting/bookkeeping services to clients including but not limited to the tasks below:
- Processing and assisting with payables and receivables;
- Managing fixed assets registers;
- Managing and processing salary and payment transactions;
- Analyzing accounting records;
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
- Calculate tax liabilities of clients
- Identifying tax risks in the course of tax compliance projects
- Preparation and filing tax returns and other mandatory reports to the state authorities;
- Assistance in preparation of accounting policies and procedures of the clients;
- Liaising with the tax authorities, participation in tax audits of the clients.
- Payroll calculation
- Preparation of internal reports for clients, where necessary
- Regular communication with clients to address their questions relating to accounting/tax matters
- Fulfil other related tasks assigned by managers or partner
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics/Management/Finance/Accounting
- Advanced written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a team
- High commitment to work
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions
- Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and dynamic conditions
Additional advantages:
- Experience with a Big Four or Azerbaijani accounting services organization
- Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP
- Having ACCA papers passed
- Good written and spoken Russian
