Entry Level Consultant to Risk Advisory

Your business unit:
Deloitte's Risk Advisory Department is a leading provider of internal control, internal audit and risk management. As part of this team, you will work with high-profile clients, including owner-managed businesses, multinationals and public companies in a variety of industry sectors. You will have the opportunity and support to take on responsibility early on, making a real contribution from day one.
The role will involve:
We are looking for Entry Level Consultant to support our Risk Advisory team to help our clients in the public, private and social sectors. You will participate in risk-related projects and work in teams of typically 3 to 5 consultants to develop solutions for specific Client challenges and help them to improve their risk management and business performance for reaching strategic objectives.
You will be part of a leading practice working with the best clients with the guarantee of no day being the same. Your role will include:
- Delivering Risk Advisory engagements as part of a team, working closely with our clients operating in various industries;
- Demonstrating a fundamental understanding of the risk management and internal controls;
- Gathering and analyzing information to develop and communicate tailored recommendations by using qualitative and quantitative methods;
- Participating in review of business processes and assessing the risks identified related to the business processes;
- Performing planning, designing and testing of internal controls;
- Working effectively in project teams to produce value-added recommendations;
- Communicating successfully with all stakeholders including client representatives and team leaders;
- Independently performing tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope;
- Supporting the development of the service line by conducting researches, participating in tenders and building proposals.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree. CIA or other professional qualifications, like CIMA, ACCA, PMP will be well regarded.
- Candidate with 1 to 3 years of related working experience.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office / Excel / PowerPoint. Strong IT security and IT technical knowledge as well as working experiences in relevant fields will be an advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English). Fluency in any other languages will also be well considered.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to multi-task and possess effective time management skills.
- Able to produce high quality work deliverables on timely basis.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and who also works effectively independently.
- Willingness to travel outstation or overseas for short to medium-term assignments.
