SWIFT Systems and the SWIFT Customer Security Program

Cybercrime has seen a steady increase over the last decade in the finance sector. However, it seems that attacks are increasingly targeting financial messaging systems, such as SWIFT.

In recent years, we have heard more and more about successful cyber-attacks. And there are more attacks that we are not aware of or that were successfully blocked due to effective control.

In this document, we will conduct an analysis, based on our experience, of SWIFT-related breaches and the most common control failures.
