Tural Hajiyev

Tural is Risk Advisory Partner at Deloitte Azerbaijan. He joined Deloitte in 2003, specializing in corporate governance and risk management as well as organizational and operational efficiency engagements. His clients include holdings and private equity companies, universal banks and insurance companies. Tural participates in several professional associations and working groups, being the co-founder of the Azerbaijan Ethics and Compliance Network and, a contributor to the Azerbaijan Risk Professionals Association’s publications. Tural has served as a Chairman of the Information and Communication Technology Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan in 2013-2015. Over recent years, Tural has led 50+ business transformation projects in Azerbaijan, including the determination of target operating models for a number of holding companies and family offices, corporate structure optimization, and technical platform definition and software selection for banks. Tural is has been a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2007 and has held MA and bachelor’s degrees in economics since 2002.
