Deloitte named a global leader in Business Analytics Services by Gartner

New York, NY, 25 August 2014– Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte Global) is pleased to announce that Gartner has named Deloitte a global leader in Business Analytics Services. In its recently issued report, Magic Quadrant for Business Analytics Services, Worldwide, Gartner defines Business Analytics (BA) as services that “encompass decision management capabilities, analytics capabilities, and information management (IM) capabilities.”

This report evaluates 17 full-service analytics providers. As the report states, “Clients can use this Magic Quadrant to help identify and evaluate the providers of a broad range of BA services for their organization.” Gartner evaluates service providers on their “Ability to Execute” and their “Completeness of Vision.” 

According to the report, “Leaders provide offerings that meet demand, as well as demonstrate the vision necessary to sustain their position as requirements evolve in the market. Leaders take chances and typically respond to a wide market audience by supporting broad market requirements in an attempt to help shape the market. This includes delivering BA solutions across all levels of the BA framework. However, they may fail to meet the specific needs of more-specialized segments (for example, technology, application, geographic, and process segments).”
