Deloitte launches CFO Lens app at 19th Annual CFO Vision Conference
CFO-centric information, perspective and polling now available on mobile, tablet and other devices to CFOs across the globe, enabling access to Deloitte CFO Program content from any location.
New York, November 18, 2015—At its 19th Annual CFO Vision conference, Deloitte’s CFO Program launched CFO Lens, a new Deloitte Global app designed to help chief financial officers access pertinent, timely insights and analysis anytime, anywhere. Bringing consumable CFO-centric information to CFOs through multiple devices—including tablets and smartphones—CFO Lens is an interactive, engaging platform to help finance chiefs stay ahead of growing demands.
“Given the hectic schedule that CFOs are faced with, they have very limited time to read and absorb external content—so the most effective content will be highly relevant, simple, digestible, and actionable,” said Sanford Cockrell III, Global CFO Program Leader, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. “The CFO Lens app is one way we are evolving to help clients stay a step ahead of issues and views that will help manage the complexities of their roles, tackle their companies’ most compelling challenges, and keep themselves and their teams abreast of the latest skills and competencies.”
The first global mobile application of its kind developed for CFOs from Deloitte, the CFO Lens app features:
- Incisive content: CFO users will be able to access Deloitte content, such as CFO Insights, a bi-weekly thought leadership series; and CFO Signals™, a quarterly CFO survey that tracks the thinking and actions of leading CFOs.
- Real-time polling: Invited CFO users will be able to answer poll questions about topical CFO-centric issues and receive real-time information on peer responses.
- Access to Deloitte subject matter specialists: Each article will include Deloitte representatives for users to contact for more information regarding the topics presented in the article.
- Relevant perspective and access: CFO Lens initially launches in the U.S., with additional markets and languages to be added in future enhancements. This will allow CFOs to access content pertaining to both local and global issues.
CFO Lens launched at the 2015 CFO Vision conference, an exclusive gathering attended by approximately 100 Deloitte member firm CFO clients representing some of the world’s largest organizations. Held last week in the District of Columbia, the 19th CFO Vision conference, under the theme “Change, Challenge, Opportunity,” offered clients an exclusive opportunity to hear insights and perspectives from thought leaders in business and the global stage that addressed key topics facing CFOs, including: leadership, capital markets, talent, regulatory updates, global economics and shareholder activism. Conference attendees heard a keynote address from Stanley McChrystal, former commander, U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan and co-founder and leader of McChrystal Group. The conference also featured 2015 Women’s World Cup champions Jill Ellis, Carli Lloyd and Abby Wambach.
