Shaping our shared future in the age of automation

Gender equality: A time for change
Influencing the workplace of the future

Description: Gender inequality continues to impact inclusive growth as the Fourth Industrial Revolution heats up. A 2016 WEF report stated, “Gender equality has stalled and at the current rate of progress parity is 170 years away.” A year later another WEF study found that gender disparities had actually widened in the last 12 months. The time is now to do something new and different to achieve something greater. This session will move beyond the obstacles and focus on what leaders can do to advance gender equality in the workplace – now.

Time: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. (CET)

Details: Burston-Marsteller EMEA COO Katarina Wallin-Bureau will be joined by Deloitte Global Chairman David Cruickshank, and Education and Employers CEO Nick Chambers to discuss key findings from Education and Employers newly released report, “Drawing the Future.” Tune in live on Twitter and Facebook on Thursday, 25 January, to join the conversation.

The #FutureofMobility’s next frontier

Description: Technology and innovation are revolutionizing how people and goods move.  A new mobility ecosystem is emerging that offers the extraordinary promise of enabling us to move faster, cheaper, cleaner and safer than today. To bring the future of mobility to life in communities around the globe, a digital integrated mobility platform will be necessary to help rapidly growing cities overcome significant transportation challenges including growing congestion, increased pollution, fair and equitable access, rising costs, safety, limited budgets to modernize transit and infrastructure development.  This session will explore how the concept of an integrated digital mobility platform that overlays onto the existing transportation system and, through a real time marketplace, is able to more efficiently match supply and demand across modes to deliver greater throughput.

Time: 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. (CET)

Details: Alan Murray, Chief Content Officer Time Inc. and President of Fortune, will moderate an exploration of the integrated mobility platform concept with Deloitte Future of Mobility leader Scott Corwin, Siemens CTO Dr. Roland Busch, and nuTonomy President Karl Iagnemma. Tune in live on Twitter and Facebook on Thursday, 25 January, to join the conversation.
