Digital Ecosystems, it’s not just Salesforce anymore…
Paul Clemmons and Barbara Venneman from Deloitte Digital will be hosting a breakout session at Dreamforce 2017 focused on digital ecosystems featuring Salesforce and other leading ecosystem alliances.
By Paul Clemmons
As I look forward to this year’s Dreamforce, I can’t help thinking about how much digital has changed over the past decade. We are no longer tethered to on premise systems—instead, we roam freely, connecting in ways we never even imagined. In the theme of connecting in new ways, I’m excited to once again be at Dreamforce to talk about digital ecosystems, including DigitalMIX 5.0.
Delivering solutions to clients requires a lot of creativity and experience across multiple platforms and technologies. Salesforce is one of the keys to enabling digital transformation and customer focus, but it takes more than just Salesforce. There are many platforms and capabilities which come from within the Salesforce ISV community and mega players like Adobe, Apple, Netsuite, and others.
As the head of Deloitte Digital’s alliance with Salesforce and the co-lead of DigitalMIX, I can tell you that one of the best things about our ecosystem platform is the ability to collaborate across industries. This new era is suited for any company that seeks an accelerated path for a ready-to-use digital technology solution. DigitalMIX solutions are designed to reduce the total cost of ownership complexity, time-to-market, and risk by bringing together today’s leading technologies including Salesforce, Adobe, and Apple—who doesn’t want that?
In fact, what I’ve seen time and time again is a trend among clients for front-to-back cloud solutions that are digitally enabled. This is particularly relevant due to the abundance of M&A activity in the market.
DigitalMIX 5.0 can reduce vendor evaluation and shorten time to go live, accelerating transformation. Some of the newest features of DigitalMIX 5.0 include:
- Enhanced portfolio of context-relevant, self-service analytics via Salesforce Einstein Analytics
- Customer luring, acquisition, retention, and grooming via Adobe Experience
- Fulfillment capability expands to partial order fulfillment, delivery tracking, and invoice support
And while I’ve only listed a few items above, there are dozens more features that I’ll be discussing in my panel at Dreamforce.
If you’re ready to learn more about my work with DigitalMIX, and the new capabilities of 5.0, attend our panel on Wednesday, November 8th or stop by booth #717 in the Cloud Expo.
