The source of tomorrow’s big ideas

This year’s event—held August 4-6 at Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas—drew 61 students from 16 universities across the United States to compete in a three-day challenge to develop real-world solutions leveraging SAP® technology.

Teams included students from SAP University Alliance programs who are learning from leading business and technology curricula that incorporate SAP solutions—students who are engaged and passionate about SAP technology, and who already understand its power and potential.

Participating teams were challenged to create innovative, first-class solution strategies for a scenario focusing on supply chain improvements, real-time decision-making, and streamlined infrastructure for a beverage maker. In the end, three teams earned big prizes.

The Indiana University team claimed the top prize, with students taking home $500 gift cards. Villanova University and North Carolina State University teams finished in second place and third place, respectively. Rounding out the final four was San Diego State University.

This year marked the third year Deloitte has hosted the event, which we consider an investment in the future.
