To strengthen Deloitte Belgium’s cyber incident response capability, we are pleased to announce the hiring of Luc Beirens who will join our cyber leadership team.
Brussels, 7 May, 2014 – Cyber-related matters are rapidly emerging topics in today’s society, as a result of their profound impact on our personal and professional lives.
For many years, Deloitte Belgium has built a leading practice by continuously investing in talent to better serve our clients and meet their ever-changing needs. In order to meet the cyber-related needs of our client, we require a full set of cyber capabilities in addition to strong advisory and implementation skills.
To strengthen Deloitte Belgium’s cyber incident response capability, we are therefore pleased to announce the hiring of Luc Beirens who will join our cyber leadership team. Luc Beirens brings extensive experience and knowledge to our growing cyber practice, and he will assume responsibility for cyber forensics, intelligence and exercises. He will work closely together with other parts of our cyber practice such as governance, security analytics, infrastructure & application protection, and information management.
“With the impact they have on our personal and professional lives, all things cyber represent an emerging issue in our society,” said Chris Verdonck, Partner Enterprise Risk Services, Deloitte Belgium. “For many years, Deloitte Belgium has built a leading practice that supports our clients. Luc Beirens brings a new perspective and skillset to Deloitte Belgium which will enable us to continue helping them to navigate the increasingly complex cyber world.”
