Deloitte opens new office in Ghent’s “The Loop” business district
Modern design, open layout and easy accessibility symbolise the new way of working.
Ghent, 28 April 2016 – Deloitte yesterday opened its new office in Ghent’s “The Loop” business district. The brand new offices are notable for an open layout, optimal light conditions, sustainable materials and excellent accessibility. The new building is a symbol of the new way of working with even more flexibility regarding working at home and commuting. The vicinity of train, tram and bus connections will optimise the mobility of Deloitte and its staff.
A great deal of attention was paid to the well-being of the staff in designing the new office. Teamwork is accordingly stimulated by the open layout, and flex desks were chosen to replace fixed places. The open, bright spaces and the use of modern materials enable employees to work under optimal conditions.
The choice of location in Ghent’s new “The Loop” business district is no coincidence either, but fully in line with Deloitte’s strategy. The building is ever so easy to reach, thanks to the nearby station, tram and bus connections, and the location between the E40 and E17 motorways.
Deloitte’s new branch in The Loop spans 7400 m² over six floors and will accommodate some 250 employees. Deloitte will provide the following services from this office: Accountancy, Audit, Consulting and Tax.
