Deloitte Belgium appoints Nikolaas Tahon as new Chairman
Deloitte Belgium today announced the election of Nikolaas Tahon, previously Managing Partner Accountancy and Deloitte Private at Deloitte Belgium, as the new Chairman of the Partnership Council. Effective 1 June 2020, Nikolaas Tahon succeeds Michel Denayer who took up the role of Chairman North-South Europe in June 2019.

Nikolaas Tahon, who has worked at Deloitte Belgium for 28 years, has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee as Managing Partner Accountancy since 2012 and Managing Partner Deloitte Private since 2016. Nikolaas is also engagement partner for several key Deloitte Private clients and will continue to lead the Best Managed Companies programme in Belgium. In his previous role, he has also led the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme. He is a strong believer of the power of entrepreneurship, inclusion and diversity, stewardship and strong governance for a sustained success of Deloitte Belgium’s partnership.
