Hi, I’m An Siebens

Master in tax law

In my final at KU Leuven – I was doing a master in tax law – the enthusiasm and drive of the Deloitte professionals I met appealed to me. I was excited to sign my contract and start my career as a junior in the corporate tax department. This was in 2005, and nothing led me to believe that today a large chunk of my time would be spent implementing new technologies and creating new tools for our Tax Compliance and Reporting practice. I’m not a particularly tech-savvy person. I’m not an early adopter of new tools and gadgets. I sometimes struggle with my PC. I think this is exactly what makes me fit for the job: thinking about how we can improve the way we render our compliance and reporting services to our clients, using state-of-the-art technology and innovative and creative ways of working, while keeping in mind that the majority of our tax clients are not IT specialists or tech addicts. They simply demand excellent, accessible service, delivered in a professional, futureproof way.

Hi, I'm Steve Minnoy,

Bachelor in Applied Informatics

When I started to work as a software developer at Deloitte more than 7 years ago,
I would never have thought our small development team of 2-3 people could make such a significant impact on IT within Tax: Our portfolio contains over 35 applications that support the different business units in Belgium and abroad with their processes, but with the constant evolutions in IT that might increase rapidly.
Today our team consists of 50 IT profiles with expertise in different areas: analysis, development, architecture, project management... and I'm very proud to be a part of it!
