Summer jobs

Discover Deloitte from the inside!

We offer you, last year, second last year and even third last year students, the chance to get a taste of a professional environment and work as a true member of our professional teams during the summer. It gives you the opportunity to explore the profession you will choose or make a decision regarding your future study programme.

We offer you the possibility to gain experience during the holiday periods, especially during summer.

Taste the Deloitte culture

The younger ones amongst you can also already get a taste of what it’s like to work in a big, but open and friendly company. As a summer student, you can work in one of the following business units:

  • Audit & Risk Advisory
  • Consulting
  • Tax
  • Accountancy
  • Financial Advisory
  • Internal Services (Fleet, IT department, HR, assistance of the Management Assistants or learning departments, … )

Our headquarters are located in Zaventem but we also offer summer jobs at local Deloitte offices in Bruges, Charleroi, Liège, Jette, Ghent, Antwerp, Hasselt, Kortrijk, Leuven and Roeselare.

Who can apply?
You must be at least 15 years old and in possession of your first and second high school degree.

Legislation has changed on 1 January 2017. If you would like to work under the regulations of a student contract, you have to keep in mind that you are entitled to work a maximum of 475 hours over a whole year. During these, you are allowed to work at reduced social contributions.

You can exceed these 475 hours if you desire, though if you choose to do so bear in mind that you always need to inform the employer of your choice and that you will have to pay taxes.

In order to complete this internship, you must be studying a Master in a business-related discipline such as Law or Economics or a Bachelor Accountancy-Tax. Any Tax related qualification is an asset.
