Global Talent Standards

How can the Global Talent Standards help you?


  • They provide a simple framework defining the skills and capabilities expected at each career level globally and further strengthen Deloitte's endeavour to deliver a consistent talent experience across firms and borders.
  • They support career development conversations by providing greater transparency about the capability expectations for the next career level.
  • They increase awareness, support learning and development, and overall wellbeing by adopting a consistent set of expectations across different career levels.
  • They support an inclusive culture with a consistent, equitable experience for all.


The Global Talent Standards have three types of capabilities:


  • Leadership capabilities: these capabilities are common across businesses and geographies by career level.
  • Professional capabilities: these capabilities are common across businesses and geographies by career level. (Exception: Sales excellence does not apply to Audit & Assurance professionals and other professionals providing Audit & Assurance services).
  • Technical/Specialised capabilities: these capabilities are specific to your business and differ by service line/offering, talent model, and career level.
