The Parents@Deloitte approach is about respecting and supporting our people in their personal lives while highlighting the importance of flexibility. Our CEO Piet Vandendriessche and Exco members Inge Diels and Kathleen De Brabander are proud to sponsor the Parents@Deloitte approach and support our professionals in their personal lives, before, and after they become parents.

By launching our redesigned approach in February 2019, we further developed our talent strategy to include an extensive user-friendly communications toolkit for parents and parents to be. Supporting documents including administrative checklists, conversation guidelines, and other useful links are available via a dedicated intranet page. The topics are structured by different stages of parental leave for mothers, fathers, co-parents, and adoptive parents. Refining the existing documentation and putting them into a framework with a more personal approach that focuses on the quality and tone of communication, we aim to better support our professionals during key milestones throughout the journey to become Parents@Deloitte.

In addition to Team Leaders, Coaches, and Talent teams, each Business Unit also has enthusiastic Parents@Deloitte Ambassadors for our parents and soon-to-be parents to ask questions, give comments, or just have a friendly chat!
