Wanty Group calls on Deloitte for one of the largest acquisitions in Wallonia
- Wanty Group, an important player in the construction industry (infrastructure works), industrial building, and civil engineering in Wallonia, acquired the company Ronveaux in 2018. The acquisition represents the largest investment ever made by Wanty, growing the company from 1,000 to 1,500 employees. To support it in this buy-back operation, the group turned to Deloitte as an external advisor.

Wanty Group is above all a family company benefiting from a private Walloon shareholding. A key element of its philosophy is to focus on in-house expertise, thus limiting the use of outsourcing.
Thanks to its presence in the regional economic environment and to its multidisciplinary offer, Deloitte won the request for proposal issued by the group.
Deloitte advised Wanty Group on different aspects of the Ronveaux project, from due diligence (accounting, fiscal, legal, and human resources) to the closing, including the financial structuring of the acquisition. Deloitte's teams accompanied and advised Wanty Group throughout the recovery process.
Following the successful collaboration between the two parties, other assignments in tax support and real estate consulting followed. Deloitte also organised training sessions for the Wanty Group accounting department on the latest legislative changes.
“The collaboration between Wanty Group and Deloitte was very human. We had the same approach: responsive, complementary, frank, and pragmatic. We particularly appreciated the competence and the availability of the Deloitte team.”
