During the 2021 financial year, which ran from 1 June 2020 to  31 May 2021, Deloitte Belgium grew by almost 5%, recording a total revenue of €635 million.

Despite uncertainty in regards to the continued impact of COVID-19 on the economy, we still managed to achieve solid growth across all our activities and business units.

Business breakdown

Our Accountancy team recorded a +1.0% growth over last fiscal year, with revenue totaling €102 million.

The Audit and Assurance business unit showed stable revenue (+0.1%) totaling €66 million for the 2021 fiscal year.

Consulting experienced near double-digit growth, with revenue of €203 million, an increase of +9.5%.

The Financial Advisory unit represented the strongest growth, with a double digit (+16.1%) increase in revenue (€21 million).

Risk Advisory also noted stable growth (+2.1%) in the 2021 fiscal year, with a total revenue of  €82 million.

The Tax and Legal teams achieved recorded revenue of  €161 million, a single digit growth of +2.9%.

Deloitte Private, which serves entrepreneurs, family businesses, and private equity-owned companies, continued to increase its footprint in the Belgian market during Deloitte’s 2021 fiscal year, resulting in a total revenue of €131 million.

Deloitte recorded a total revenue of €635 million in its 2021 fiscal year. This marks a 4.7% increase compared to the FY20 revenue of €607 million, further solidifying Deloitte’s position as a market leader in Belgium. Despite uncertain economic conditions and a continued impact of the COVID-19 crisis throughout fall 2020 and the first months of 2021, we managed to register solid growth across all of our activities and business units, with the Consulting and Advisory branches representing the strongest growth."
